Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle arrived at the 2020 Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey today in completely opposite (and kind of Christmas-inspired) looks, but they had one thing in common.
The 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the Abbey wearing a ruby red Catherine Walker coat dress, while the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex stayed on the opposite side of the color wheel and sported a Kelly green caped dress by Emilia Wickstead. Middleton’s was a royal rewear (she last sported the coat during her annual post-church Christmas appearance in 2018); Markle’s vintage-inspired number is brand new. Middleton went monochromatic and Markle mixed shades and hues. But both duchesses opted for eye-catching fascinators.
