The Christmas giving has started early this year for the royal family.

In honor of the holiday seasonKate Middleton gave the children supported by Sebby’s Corner (a charity which aims to provide food, clothes and other necessities to families in need across London) a special present: a children’s book.

A few weeks ago, the Princess of Wales, 41, traveled to Barnet (located in northwest London) to visit the U.K.-based charity to learn more about how they are helping families and their young children for the Christmas season.

According to People, the royal brought 50 copies (yes, you read that right) of The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark with her. Originally published in 1968, the story follows Plop, a baby owl who tries to overcome his fear of the dark. But this is no ordinary children’s book—it happens to be a favorite of Princess Catherine’s three kids: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

Bianca Sakol, who is the founder and CEO of Sebby’s Corner, explained to People how grateful they were to receive such a generous gift from the mother of three. “It was so lovely that she brought the books. They were a book that she said she enjoyed reading with her children.”

Sakol continued, “Things are so difficult now with the cost of living crisis and those families who were just getting by last year are now struggling and just can’t make ends meet. That’s what services like ours are there for. Every child should have Christmas and we talked a lot about that and how people can help get involved in supporting that.”
