Kate Middleton is still embracing her new, lighter locks—but she's changing up her hairstyle.
ICYMI: The Duchess of Cambridge recently kicked off summer with a whole new cut and color. Earlier this month, during the launch of her new BBC initiative, Tiny Happy People, the mother of three ditched her golden brown lob for a lighter look (highlights perhaps?) with new face-framing layers. Her new ’do even featured shades of honey.
And it seems that her new look is also inspiring new ways of styling, because the 38-year-old royal just rocked a beautiful blow out accompanied by beachy waves.
On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced that the Royal Foundation has granted a massive donation to benefit the U.K. frontline workers and help support the mental health of the nation's citizens. The funding has been set up as part of the organization’s response to the current coronavirus pandemic. The royal couple also shared footage of their meeting with four representatives from the organizations benefiting from the fund on the Queen's Sandringham Estate just days earlier.
In the short clip and accompanying photos, we get an up-close look at Middleton’s loose curls, which we’re assuming were achieved using a basic curling iron or wand (however, we’ll need confirmation from her stylist on that one). Of course, the waves were also perfectly blown out and seemed to keep their shape throughout the event.
This might just be one of our favorite Kate looks to date.
