Kate Middleton Channels Farrah Fawcett with ’70s-Inspired Outfit & Hairstyle

Today, Princess Catherine, 41, traveled to Scotland with her husband, Prince William, to visit a charity called Outfit Moray. The duchess appeared in a pair of '70s-inspired flared pants, and she styled her hair to match the retro ensemble. 

Princess Catherine wore a quilted green jacket by Burberry, a navy-blue turtleneck and flared pants that solidified the ’70s theme.

The royal styled her hair in voluminous waves that are reminiscent of Fawcett’s signature hairstyle. Although the Princess of Wales typically wears her hair in loose curls, the framing around her face is usually much more relaxed. 

The Princess of Wales accessorized with a red poppy brooch in honor of Remembrance Day. The annual U.K. holiday falls on November 11 and marks the end of World War I. The artificial flower has been used since 1921 to commemorate military members who have died in war.

During the outing, the royal couple learned more about Outfit Moray, which supports the mental health of vulnerable and disadvantaged youths through outdoor adventures. The appearance marked the royals’ first joint engagement in three weeks. 

The couple recently paused their official duties to spend more time with their children—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5—during their half-term break from school. But now that class is back in session, the Prince and Princess of Wales are at it again. And you won’t hear us complaining.
