Kate Middleton Emerald Gown from Jenny Packham Is a Royal Rewear

Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed a well-deserved date night yesterday. For the occasion, the mother of three reached into her closet and pulled out one of her favorite looks.

On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where they met with “amazing entertainers from the world of theater and music.” The event supports the Royal Variety Charity, which has provided aid to those in the entertainment industry since 1921.

Per usual, Middleton and her husband dressed the part. The 39-year-old duchess looked stunning in an emerald gown by Jenny Packham, while William looked dapper in a velvet suit jacket. Middleton’s beaded dress is from the British designer’s autumn/winter 2020 collection and features long sleeves, statement shoulders and a cinched waist. She topped off her look with gorgeous waves, gold earrings and her blue sapphire engagement ring (duh).

This isn’t the first time Middleton donned the piece for a special occasion. She previously wore it during a visit to Pakistan in 2019, when she attended a reception hosted by Thomas Drew—the British High Commissioner—at the Pakistan National Monument. The glittering gown was the duchess’s third ensemble during that day of the tour.

We’re not surprised Middleton chose a rewear. Both the duke and duchess have been opting for sustainable fashion over the last few months to help support the environment.

Looking good, you two.
