Middleton selected a Warehouse Wave pointelle detail jumper in berry ($48) with a scalloped neck and sleeves with a lace effect design, as well as Jigsaw relaxed gathered waist culottes ($109) with wide legs, an elastic waist and front pockets for the occasion. As you may remember, Middleton worked at Jigsaw prior to getting engaged to Prince William, and Meghan Markle collaborated with the brand on her recent Smart Set capsule collection for Smart Works.
The Duchess of Cambridge accessorized her seasonal ensemble with two chic royal rewears. She carried an oxblood Chanel top-handle bag with an ornate gold handle, which is sadly no longer available, and slipped into similarly sold-out Tod’s fringed leather pumps in the same color. Middleton last wore this high fashion combination while visiting Paris in 2017 and Sweden in 2018 on royal engagements.
Inside, the duchess bent down to get up close and personal with the specimens and saw DNA sequencing happening right in front of her eyes. The Angela Marmont Centre is a one-of-a-kind scientific hub dedicated to studying the U.K.’s natural world, and judging from the photo Kensington Palace posted on Instagram, Middleton was way into it.
