When it comes to going viral on the internet, you can say that Kate Middleton is a seasoned pro. Whether it’s a resurfaced video of the princess dancing or a clip filled with photos of the royal partying in her 20s, the Princess of Wales possesses that level of star power. This time around, a cheeky comment made by the 42-year-old royal has started making waves on the internet once again—and we can totally see why.
A resurfaced clip from a 2023 interview featuring Princess Catherine, Prince William and Princess Anne has gone viral on TikTok. According to Newsweek, the royal trio sat down for the interview before the annual Rugby World Cup. And not only that but the sit-down convo was also featured on the sports podcast, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.
In a TikTok video uploaded by @ctheriness on August 11 (which currently has 217K views and 11K likes), Princess Catherine can be heard talking about her “competitive side” that comes out with her husband, Prince William. While the princess was the only one in the frame, she discussed how some schools had “banned” parents’ races, saying in the clip, “Actually, we were told categorically there was no parents' race. But then they called at the last minute ‘parents race!’ and maybe the competitive side in both of us was like, ‘We have to take part in this!’”
