Kate Middleton Had an Actual Cinderella Moment at the BAFTAs

ICYMI: Kate Middleton and Prince William had a fancy date night to the BAFTAs (basically the British Oscars)—yeah, Grammys who?!—and the duchess had a major Cinderella moment as she and William made their grand entrance.

Yep, a real royal just relived Cinderella's ball moment with her real-life Prince Charming (though without the whole evil stepsisters thing, of course).

The duchess wore a princess-like one-shoulder white gown with floral details by Alexander McQueen and embraced her all-out princess aesthetic with sparkly white Jimmy Choo heels. She accessorized with a pair of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s massive diamond, pearl and silver earrings.

William went with a classic black tux and white pocket square.

Middleton wore her hair in an updo that showed off the teardrop earrings. She also took a cue from her sister-in-law Meghan Markle and finished off her look with a smoky eye and sparkly lip gloss—a look the Duchess of Sussex went for on Thursday during her and Prince Harry’s night out at the Endeavour Fund Awards.

Prince William is presenting the Fellowship award to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker. This award is given to an individual in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, games or television.

A Cinderella-worthy entrance? Just get home before midnight, Kate. (To tuck in George, Char and Louis, obvi.)
