Kate Middleton's Christening Outfit Contained a Lovely Tribute to the Late Princess Diana

For her new royal nephew's christening over the weekend, Kate Middleton added in a special detail from Princess Diana's private collection.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who looked stunning in a pink Stella McCartney dress (possibly the same one worn to the queen's Christmas lunch this year), red suede pumps and red hatband, also wore a pair of her late mother-in-law's earrings. The Collingwood pearl and diamond drop earrings were the same earrings worn by Princess Diana for Prince Harry's christening. (We're not crying, you're crying.)

Here's a closer look at the earrings, which were gifted to the Princess of Wales on her wedding day to Prince Charles.

Middleton also recently wore the pearl stunners on Garter Day last month.

The earrings also served as a sweet tribute to her brother-in-law Prince Harry, since his mother Diana wore them to his christening in 1984 (at the exact same chapel where Archie was baptized).
