Kate Middleton is known for her impeccable fashion sense, from her show-stopping red coat to her Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit. And now, the duchess is proving (yet again) that she can still look fabulous while recycling her clothes—and wearing them backwards.
In a recent Instagram post, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a purple Gucci top while doing a Q&A about her 5 Big Questions on the Under Fives study, and some fans suspect that the back of her blouse is actually being worn at the front.
In the video, as Middleton addresses a number of submitted questions, she sports a loose pussy-bow and a few buttons of her silky shirt can be seen on her sleeve. She says, "I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent in their questions. There are a huge number here with loads of wonderful emojis attached to them."
However, royal enthusiasts were quick to notice that the elegant and flowy top has already been worn on at least one occasion. In 2019, when the duchess visited Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre in London, she paired the same shirt with dark trousers, and the top was actually worn back-to-front.
In the official product description for the Pussy-bow silk-crepe blouse, which costs $1,300 (and is now currently sold out), it reads, "this style has a loose silhouette and features fabric-covered buttons that run down the back." And if you need proof, take a look at how it's modeled below.
