As if Kate Hudson wasn't already America's biggest sweetheart, her latest Instagram posts of her children, which had us doing double takes at their uncanny resemblances, just might have sealed the deal.
To celebrate National Sons Day, on Tuesday, September 29, Hudson posted a touching collection of photos featuring close moments with her own two boys as seen below.
The seven pictures span moments of quick selfies at home, showing the family cuddled in bed together, lounging on couches and out and about. "I can’t even explain the heart explosion that happens when I go through all these pics of my boys! #nationalsonday," the award-winning star captioned the adorable moments. "I’m a lucky Ma."
While it's nearly impossible to pinpoint a favorite photo, the third slide made more than a few heads turn. In the shot, Hudson's oldest son, Ryder Robinson, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, is pictured lounging with his younger brother Bingham Hawn Bellamy, whom she shares with ex Matthew Bellamy. With his swooped-over haircut and a sunny yellow tee, Ryder bears a striking resemblance to his mother and her gorgeous, unique facial features.
It wouldn't be the first time we've noticed similarities between the two—remember how alike they looked with those incredible buzz cuts?
Fans flooded the comments with love, with some noting the similarities. "Kate Hudson's son actually is Kate Hudson," said a follower, while wrote, "Such precious versions of you!" Even Gwyneth Paltrow, a good friend of the star, left a sweet comment with two heart emojis on the post.
As if the special photos of her boys on National Sons Day wasn't enough, Hudson also shared a series of pictures celebrating her daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, whom she welcomed with fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, in 2018, for National Daughters Day three days prior.
"National daughters day IS TODAY apparently! So I didn't miss it but sharing my family life with you brings me joy and I can't miss a chance to say how Rani Rose is a treasure to us in our fam and I'm so grateful we were blessed with a baby girl," the star wrote. "Balance is a beautiful thing."
The 2-year-old clearly received Hudson's spunk and beauty (remember that adorable video of the duo singing?), as seen in the images above. The photos sparked some debates in the comments over whether Rani Rose looked more like her mother or father, with one follower writing, "Looks like her Mama," and another follower saying, "...like your [fiancé]!"
As for us, we're having a hard time erasing Hudson's family of mini-me's from our minds.
