Kate Hudson’s Daughter Just Took Her First Steps While Wearing a Grandpa Kurt Russell Onesie

Kate Hudson’s 1-year-old daughter, Rani Rose Hudson-Fujikawa, just achieved a major accomplishment while simultaneously honoring her grandpa, Kurt Russell.

Last week, the 40-year-old actress shared a video on Instagram documenting the moment little Rani took her very first steps.

In the clip, Rani slowly walks toward her mom, who is encouraging the baby behind the camera. “Come to mama,” she says. “Come to mama. Good girl.”

Rani is wearing a onesie featuring one of her grandpa’s most iconic characters, Snake Plissken from Escape from New York. The outfit shows Russell’s face plastered across the front (eye patch included).

Hudson captioned the post, “Walking into Friday with Snake… #TGIF #AndShesOff.”

Diane Kruger commented on the photo and revealed that her daughter, who she shares with Norman Reedus, is one step behind Rani. “Oh! Mine is a minute behind yours :),” she wrote.

Hudson and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, welcomed baby Rani back in October 2018. The actress announced the exciting news on Instagram and shared a photo with the newborn’s birthday (October 2). Hudson also has two children from previous relationships: Ryder (15) and Bingham (8).

Wishing Hudson and Fujikawa all the best as they take on this daunting new chapter in Rani’s life.
