Kaley Cuoco is sharing her love of horseback riding with her social media followers. And we’re not going to lie, she has some seriously impressive skills.
Earlier this month, the 34-year-old actress posted a throwback video of herself riding on Instagram. “Spruce Meadows 2016,” she captioned the clip. “Reminiscing over old riding videos, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had @spruce_meadows with this amazing mare, Si Bella, unforgettable!” In the one-minute video, we see the Big Bang Theory star looking equestrian chic while successfully performing a handful of jumps.
Cuoco has been riding horses since she was 15 years old and continues to participate in show riding. However, due to her acting career and the current coronavirus pandemic, she has been unable to ride as much as she would like (which explains all of her recent nostalgic posts).
In March, she shared a series of Instagram Stories featuring video of herself taking a tumble during a competition.
“The moment you realize all your equestrian friends are posting their show ring fails and now you have to do the same and you know there are tons but you really don't want to," Cuoco wrote in the post, according to The Blast. In the vid, the Flight Attendant actress was tossed from her horse, but luckily, she was able to land on her feet.
Oh, and did we mention her husband, Karl Cook, is quite the accomplished equestrian as well? Yup, Cook has been riding since he was only 8 years old. He regularly competes in—and wins—competitions. In 2016, Karl and his horse Farrari won the blue ribbon in the SmartPak Grand Prix and the UltrOz Jumper, according to E! News.
Kaley, if you’re reading this, keep the throwback videos coming.
