Justin Timberlake just sparked an age-old debate about Girl Scout cookies, and we have some thoughts.
It all started yesterday when the 39-year-old singer posted a slideshow of videos on his personal Instagram account, featuring himself trying both Samoas and Thin Mints.
In the clip, Timberlake dives into the Samoas and says, “You know, this one is for the Girl Scouts of America. We support you. Ooh. Ooh, do we support you!”
The singer goes on to launch a poll, claiming that Samoas are the underdog of Girl Scout cookies. “Maybe we should start a survey,” he says. “I know everybody automatically thinks about Thin Mints when they think of Girl Scout cookies.”
In the caption, he instructed his followers to “like” the post to vote for Samoas or “comment” to vote for Thin Mints. He wrote, “Samoas vs Thin Mints…FOOD FOR THOUGHT. Double tap for DOUBLE SAMOAS. Comment for Thin Mints.”
We don’t know when (or if) Timberlake will post the results of the survey. At the time of publication, it appeared Thin Mints were in the lead.
If we had to choose, we’d say Samoas all the way. End of discussion.
