Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Son Is Joining One of Our Favorite Shows

A new student is joining Essex College for the fall semester!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s son, Charlie Hall, is set to star in the second season of the HBO Max series, The Sex Lives of College Girls. The Seinfeld actress took to Instagram to celebrate the exciting news. While sharing a screenshot of a Deadline article, she wrote in the caption, “That’s my boy!”

In the new season, Hall will portray a character named Andrew, a new student at the university. Created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, the series follows the lives of four college roommates— Pauline Chalamet (Kimberly), Amrit Kaur (Bela), Reneé Rapp (Leighton), and Alyah Chanelle Scott (Whitney)—as they try to navigate college and gives a glimpse into the overall experience.

Deadline also reported the young actor will star in the HBO Max romance film, Sweethearts, with Kieran Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Nico Hiraga (Moxie). He’ll play the role of Simon, labeled a “hometown hero” who was the star of his high school football team. But it seems he may have simply been a “big fish in a small pond.”

Aside from securing a role on those HBO Max projects, Hall booked a recurring role on the Disney+ series Big Shot. He’ll portray the character of Nick, a star basketball player at the all-boys school, Belford High.

Looks like Louis-Dreyfus’s son was bitten by the acting bug too.
