The Bridgerton star, 36, did loads of press for Wicked ahead of the premiere on November 22. During an interview, Bailey confirmed that he took a raunchy photo of himself wearing nothing but Fiyero’s boots.
“That’s what I had to wear,” he said. “It’s a popular one, and I had to document it.” Jeff Goldblum chimed in and said, “And you took a picture?” To which Bailey replied, “I did.”
Bailey also warned hackers that the photo is locked away for his eyes only. “And I’ve also locked my iCloud and put two-factor authentication on that,” he added.
This isn’t the first time that Bailey has confirmed the photo exists. In a video that was posted on Wicked’s Instagram account, the actor shared the story behind the photo. Bailey revealed that his luggage got lost and the only part of his costume that arrived were the boots.
“So my first in-person meeting, knowing that I was going to play Fiyero, was with the guy that made my ‘Dancing Through Life’ boots,” he said. “I think I flew over on a Tuesday, and then I was filming Bridgerton on the Wednesday to Saturday, and, as I got there, nothing arrived. So all I had was my Fiyero boots.”
Bailey continued, “There’s an amazing photo that no one’s ever gonna see of me in nothing but my boots, which sort of felt right for Fiyero somehow.”
If Bailey doesn’t want to reveal the photo, then I’ll just have to use my imagination.
