‘GoT’ May Be Over, but You Can Still Pass Time ’Til the Books Arrive with New ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ Whiskys

Guys, important stuff: Johnnie Walker is producing two new Game of Thrones–themed whiskies (and we're going to need a drink when we think about how long it's taking for George R.R. Martin's last two GoT books to come out…).

The new A Song of Ice and A Song of Fire whiskies are available for $36 each on Reserve Bar, and join Johnnie Walker's previous collaboration with HBO, the White Walker whiskey that was released in October.

The Scotch whiskies evoke House Stark and House Targaryen, respectively. The Ice bottle displays a direwolf on it and is meant to be enjoyed on ice, while the Fire bottle reveals a dragon (Queen Dany would be so proud) and should be enjoyed neat.

Sure, there are already multiple beers and wines inspired by the show, but these two new whiskies feel decidedly more books-themed, seeing as their names are the name of the GRRM series.

It’s a good thing Scotch ages well…in case you want to save these for the final novels.
