John Legend Is Hosting Another (Free!) Live Concert this Friday

All of me loves all of John Legend, thanks to this brand-new announcement.

The 41-year-old singer just confirmed that he’s hosting another virtual concert this Friday, May 22. Legend is teaming up with Amazon Music for the highly anticipated event, where he’ll not only perform songs, but he’ll also answer real-time fan questions, along with previously submitted inquiries.

Legend announced the exciting news on his personal Instagram account and wrote, “I’m performing and answering fan questions live with @AmazonMusic this Friday! Share your questions here and tune in on @AmazonLive, link in bio.”

This isn’t the first time Legend has hosted a mini concert during self-isolation. Back in March, the musician live-streamed a performance from his home and revealed that he was inspired by Coldplay front man Chris Martin, who held a similar event.

"My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today,” Legend wrote on Twitter. “I'll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We'll try to get through this together!”

Legend made it a “robe party,” which means he was “pantsless.” He even enlisted his wife, Chrissy Teigen, for a surprise cameo. “I’ll be there!! because I literally have no choice,” she wrote in a tweet.

Fingers crossed Legend expands the guest list to include his two children, Luna (4) and Miles (2), this time around.
