If you've checked the news at all in the past month, then you've probably heard that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck (aka Bennifer) have rekindled their romantic relationship.

And if you haven't, well, we'll try to catch you up fast. The couple started dating in the early 2000s and even planned to get married until they called it quits in 2004. However, back in May, after each had experienced the end of their own serious relationships, the duo were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles and reportedly seeing each other romantically once again. And yes, our jaws hit the floor.

Now, as Bennifer is supposedly back together again, a new source has weighed in on their reunion: J.Lo's mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez.

Just last week, Rodríguez was seen hanging out with Affleck in Las Vegas after both were done working together on a movie set. Apparently, the project is a film that Affleck is directing, but Rodríguez showed up for a fun cameo.

A source told People, “In the past, Jennifer's mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn't work things out years ago. She is thrilled that they are back together now.”

The source added, “Jennifer is very close with her mom. It's very important to her that the person she is with, gets along with her mom. Jennifer loves that Ben and Guadalupe hung out in Las Vegas. They both love gambling and had fun together at the Wynn hotel."

It is true that J.Lo and her mother are very close, given that Lopez has shared frequent photos with her mom, and she even brought her on stage for a recent performance. So, we're glad to know that Bennifer have Lupe's stamp of approval.
