Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson Ross just proved that not every bridesmaid dress has to be ugly.
Over the weekend, the sisters served as bridesmaids in a wedding for their friend, Stephenie Pearson. Their outfits were revealed in an Instagram post, which features the wedding party posing alongside the bride.
In the photo, all four bridesmaids are wearing mismatched dresses that fit the same metallic color scheme. For example, Ross is donning a silver gown by Marchesa that has dramatic sleeves and feathers, while Simpson is sporting a gold gown that’s completely covered in sequins.
On the other hand, the bride is wearing a stunning vintage dress, which features a collared neckline and button-down front, along with frilly sleeves and a ruffled skirt. The real showstopper is her flashy headband, which complemented her wedding party’s glitzy gowns.
Despite the varying dress styles, Simpson and Ross are rocking similar glam, consisting of a smokey eye and pink lip. While Ross’s hair is styled in a sleek ponytail, Simpson’s mane is down and pulled to one side.
In another post shared on Pearson’s Instagram account, Simpson expressed her gratitude in the comments section, writing, “I’m still crying. You are in step with your purpose and the light that surrounds you is divine. You are the fairy of your fairytale my forever sister.” Ross added, “Most beautiful wedding. Love you.”
