Jessica Biel Shares Rare Details About New Son Phineas: ‘The Little One Is Just Cute as Hell’

It’s been almost a year since Jessica Biel and her husband, Justin Timberlake, secretly welcomed their second child, Phineas. And now, the 39-year-old actress is speaking out for the first time since becoming a mother of two.

Biel recently appeared on an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, where she opened up about her growing family. Although she kept the entire pregnancy a secret, she revealed that it wasn’t her original plan—that is, until the coronavirus pandemic happened.

“I had, like, a secret COVID baby,” she said. “It wasn’t like it was supposed to be a secret. It was just COVID happened, and then I went to Montana with my family and never left.”

Biel is referring to her home in Big Sky, Montana, which is where the entire family (including her mother, Kimberly Conroe) has been self-isolating. While discussing the baby’s arrival, she admitted that she was really “nervous” due to hospital restrictions. Luckily, Timberlake was able to be there for the delivery.

Biel also referenced her first child, Silas (6), and revealed that two kids (instead of one) is a whole different ball game. “Someone said to me, ‘Two is like having a thousand.’ And that’s exactly what it feels like,” she joked.

The Sinner star went on to explain why she’s soaking up every moment, adding, “It’s so funny. The conversations I’m having now with my 6-year-old is so cool. Like, he’s a real person saying the funniest stuff, and he’s so sensitive and tender. It’s just so interesting to see that part of it happen, and the little one is just cute as hell.”

Keep the baby updates coming, Jessica.
