Jennifer Lopez’s Tour Kicked Off with a Mother-Daughter Duet

It appears Jennifer Lopez’s daughter, Emme, is following in her mom’s superstar footsteps.

Over the weekend, the 49-year-old singer kicked off her It’s My Party Tour at The Forum in Inglewood, California. During the show, her 11-year-old daughter joined her onstage to perform “Limitless” from the Second Act soundtrack, and of course, they totally nailed the duet.

In a clip the star posted on Instagram, J.Lo and Emme are wearing matching red gowns as they belt out the lyrics. Lopez could hardly contain her emotions when the preteen hits a high note with ease, and damn, talk about a proud mom moment.

She captioned the post, “I can’t take it!”

Celebrities immediately filled the comment section with words of praise for the mother-daughter duo. While Jenna Dewan used several heart-eye emojis to express her emotions, writing, “Ohhhhhhh my goodness.” Other celebs—like Reese Witherspoon—said what we’re all thinking: “What a voice!”

Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox also confirmed that it was an unforgettable moment, saying, “This brought tears to my eyes last night.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Emme’s incredible singing voice. Back in May, Lopez posted a video on her official YouTube channel that showed Emme hitting all the notes in Alicia Key’s “If I Ain’t Got You.”

“We should have her come out and do something on tour,” J.Lo said in the video.

Mission accomplished.
