J.Lo Celebrates Anniversary with Ben Affleck by Sharing Never-Before-Seen Wedding Pics and Teasing New Song

She may still be Jenny from the Block, but for the past year, Jennifer Lopez, 54, has legally been Jennifer Affleck, after she and Ben Affleck, 51, tied the knot on July 16, 2022. While the two secretly shared vows in Vegas, they then celebrated with all their family and friends a month later, in Georgia. Now, it's been one year since the big wedding event and J.Lo is feeling quite sentimental, so she shared a pair of never-before-seen photos to her Instagram.

“One year ago today,” J.Lo's caption began. She then formatted the rest of her caption like a poem (or lyrics), writing, “Dear Ben, Sitting here alone / Looking at my ring ring / Feeling overwhelmed / It makes me wanna sing sing / How did we end up here / Without a rewind / Oh my / This is my life…” And she signed the post: “Jennifer.”

The Marry Me actress added hashtags, which lead us to believe these lines are taken from a song titled, “Dear Ben Pt. II,” which will be featured on her forthcoming album, This Is Me... Now. The upcoming ninth studio album will be a sequel to Lopez's third studio album, This Is Me... Then (2002), which was inspired by her relationship with Affleck (prior to their breakup and eventual reunion 17 years later). In case you're unaware, the 2002 album featured a song titled “Dear Ben.”

In her new post, the JLo Beauty founder shared pics taken by photographer John Russo. The first sees Affleck carrying her in his arms, while she looks at him and laughs. The following sees the pair kissing under a gazebo while fireworks shoot off behind them.

Bennifer’s wedding bash took place at Affleck’s $8.9 million estate in Georgia, where they were joined by celebrity friends (like Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana), as well as family (J.Lo's 15-year-old twins, Emme and Max, were in attendance, as well as Affleck's three kids—Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11).
