Jennifer Garner Posts Incredible Childhood Pic—and I’m Obsessed with Her ‘70s Hair and ‘70s Couch

Jennifer Garner recently posted a rare throwback from her childhood, and it's like looking into a time capsule from the '70s.

Last week, the 13 Going on 30 actress shared a retro photo of herself on Instagram in honor of the long Labor Day weekend ahead and it's too good not to rave about. The image is of a young JG snoozing on a couch using an open book as a makeshift blanket (we've all been there) with a furry feline friend snuggled on top of her.

Her caption read, "I’m wishing you a 1970’s couch, book, and cat kind of long weekend."

However, it's Garner's '70s style and surroundings that are truly the stars of this photo. The star is sporting slight bitty bangs—which also happens to be a top trend for fall—and a cozy flannel paired with cuffed jeans, of course. Honestly, we could steal a few fall style tips from young Garner.

The couch is also a big giveaway of the photo's time period as it's adorned in a dark brown suede and white floral print that would definitely be considered vintage in the present day.

This isn't the first time Garner has given us a sneak peek into her retro girlhood. On Mother's Day, she posted a slideshow of images with her mom, Pat (or resident sass queen), from her time as a child to adulthood.
