Jennifer Garner is channeling her inner farmer—and it's not all sunshine and roses. In a funny new Instagram post, Garner, 52, rides a kids tractor with a chicken in the cart—a chicken who jumps onto her head, causing a very funny (and understandable) freak out.
Jennifer Garner Loses It on Camera When She Realizes What Just Landed on Her Head

She shouts, "I don't like this," and adds, "I don't have that much love for chickens." She captioned the slideshow, "Farmers are the heart of our country, Happy #NationalFarmersDay! Love from your biggest fan, Farmer Jen." In subsequent photos and videos (all apparently taken on different days), Garner plants, rides in a real tractor and generally looks adorably farmer-esque. (I can't get over how cute the overalls embroidered with "Jen" are in one of the snaps.)
The star's followers were equally charmed. One writes, "Is there anyone who doesn’t like her? It’s not possible!" while another adds, "You are 100% pure joy in physical form! ❤️" (I totally agree, for the record.)
It's not the first time Garner has showed off her silly side and love for animals. A few months ago, she took to Instagram to share a short clip of her golden retriever, Birdie, casually lounging on the kitchen floor.
Garner set the clip to Tinashe’s hit song “Nasty,” specifically the part where she belts out, “Is somebody gonna match my freak?” But it doesn’t stop there—Garner wrote in the caption, “Draw me like one of your French girls.”
She posted another funny video over the summer with her cat, Moose. The premise? "Showing my cat places in the house he's never seen before."
Garner carries Moose around the house, showing him inside the microwave, the top of her bed and, in what must've been mighty tempting, the fish tank.
I for one can't wait to see more animal encounters on Insta.
