Jennifer Garner Reveals the Struggle She’s Had on Set for 28 Years

At this point, Jennifer Garner is a seasoned veteran when it comes to the world of Hollywood. The 50-year-old actress has starred in a number of major films, from 13 Going on 30 to The Adam Project. But, as recently revealed by the star on Instagram, there's one problem that she has consistently faced on set: getting lost.

In an amusing new video, the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past lead revealed that she frequently struggles with directions. “I’ve gone the wrong way out of every set and every trailer for 28 years,” she wrote in her caption. But, one crew member decided to help Garner out...check it out below.

“@bapp1231, you get me!” Garner wrote in her caption, tagging Brooke Appelbaum, who has worked as a production coordinator and an assistant to the producer on a number of major projects, according to her page on IMDB. Garner then added, “Thank you for dealing with the brain I have and helping me get a handle on this situation. ([kissing emoji] @nickichestnut @juliehewettla #LeeLee) #FamilyLeave @netflixfilm.”

In the video, we can see that Appelbaum put signs outside of Garner's trailer, with pictures and arrows telling Garner where to go, depending on whether she's going to see her driver, or if she's visiting her hairstylist and makeup artist. At the beginning of the clip, the Juno star wrote, “One thing about me: I have the worst sense of direction.”

The struggle of getting lost on set was apparently relatable to a number of other Hollywood actors. Garner's former 13 Going on 30 co-star, Mark Ruffalo, left a comment that said, “Okay, this is genius. I definitely need these for those early morning call times.” Meanwhile, Michelle Pfeiffer wrote, “Lol! I thought it was just me?!!”

Garner has been filming the comedy Family Leave for Netflix. In the movie, she stars alongside Ed Helms as a couple struggling to keep their family together as their kids grow up. But, after an astrological readers pays the family a visit, they go through a body swap similar to Freaky Friday.
