Watching your child achieve a big milestone might bring any parent to tears—and celebrity mom Jennifer Garner is no different.

Yesterday on Instagram, the 13 Going on 30 alum posted a series of photos and videos of herself crying after her 18-year-old daughter, Violet (who she shares with ex-husband, Ben Affleck), graduated from high school.

The first pic in the slideshow shows the 52-year-old actress breaking down in tears as she continues to clap and cheer for her daughter and the other graduates. Meanwhile, the next slide shows the proud mom becoming overcome with emotion while standing outside of the venue.

The Instagram post also includes a video of Garner sitting on the plane and wiping away tears with a tissue. “How are we going to make it? What are we going to do?” she says to the person behind the camera.

In the caption, the Alias star wrote, “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate.  [graduation cap emoji]  (bless our hearts).”

Before watching Violet walk across the stage in her cap and gown, the mother of three has candidly talked about how her oldest child is preparing for college. Back in November, the Family Switch actress appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark and shared how excited she is prepping for Violet to start this new chapter.

When asked about how her daughter is handling the college application process, she said, “The excitement and stress go hand-in-hand. She’s handling it like a champ and she’s totally in charge. She’s a self-starter.”

Garner also added, “I’m proud of her no matter what.”

You did great, Jennifer.
