Jennifer Aniston Says It ‘Would Be Amazing’ to Star Alongside Adam Sandler and This Actress in a Movie

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are no strangers to playing each other’s on-screen love interests. Just take the films Just Go with It, Murder Mystery and Murder Mystery 2 (which is coming out next week on Netflix, btw) for example. However, the Friends alum would jump at the chance to star alongside the Grown Ups star and one particular actress in a potential project.

This week, Aniston (54) and Sandler (56) made a special appearance on Good Morning America to promote their new movie, Murder Mystery 2. During the interview, The Morning Show star revealed that she’s eager to work with one of Sandler’s other frequent collaborators: Drew Barrymore (48).

Throughout their career, Barrymore and Sandler have starred in a few romcoms together, including The Wedding Singer, Blended and 50 First Dates.

“We want to do [a movie with] all three of us together and just put an end to this competition," Aniston said with a chuckle. Sandler chimed in and said, “There’s no competition. Just two great ladies. That would be amazing doing a movie all together.” 

While we’re keeping our fingers crossed for this future collab, we are beyond excited to see the return of married couple Audrey & Nick Spitz in the highly anticipated Murder Mystery 2. Back in January, Netflix released the first official trailer for the sequel. 

In this new film, Audrey and Nick are trying to get their own private eye agency off the ground after solving the mystery four years earlier. But, they receive a call from their friend Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar), who invites them to a wedding on his private island. But, things soon go from bad to worse when the groom is kidnapped and everyone (including the Spitzes) becomes a suspect.
