At the ripe age of 1-week-old, Jenna Bush Hager’s newborn son, Hal, already has his very own co-star-in-training: Hoda Kotb’s 2-year-old daughter, Haley Joy.
Yesterday, the Today with Hoda & Jenna co-hosts documented the moment their children met for the very first time. Hager kicked things off by sharing a slideshow of photos on Instagram, featuring little Haley holding baby Hal.
She captioned the post, “Look who came to visit. Swipe to see the moment my heart-melted. @hodakotb.”
Kotb shared the same two photos on her personal Instagram account and wrote, “Haley + Hal,” along with heart emojis.
Earlier this week, Hager and her husband, Henry, welcomed their third child together, a baby boy named Henry Harold Hager, or “Hal.” The newborn inherited his first name from his father, while his middle name came from Jenna’s grandfather, Harold Welch (aka former first lady Laura Bush’s dad.)
Shortly after entering the world, baby Hal had his very first visitor: Jenna’s twin sister, Barbara. And now, he appears to be racking up quite the list of visitors.
