Jenna Bush Hager’s newborn son, Henry Harold “Hal” Hager, had a super-special first visitor.
Four days after announcing that she and her husband, Henry, welcomed their third child together, the Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram, featuring the moment her twin sister, Barbara, met baby Hal.
The first pic shows Auntie Barbara holding her new nephew, followed by a selfie with the proud parents. (Shout-out to Henry for that makeshift cape.)
Jenna captioned the post, “Visitor number one: hours after babe’s birth, this one comes with donuts and tacos. #sistersfirst #tacosforthewin #noticehenry’scape.”
Hal is the first grandson for both sides of the family. The newborn inherited his first name from his father, while his middle name came from Jenna’s grandfather, Harold Welch (aka former first lady Laura Bush’s dad.)
Jenna and Henry are also parents to two daughters—Mila (6) and Poppy (3)—who are adjusting well to life with their new brother.
“Mila and Poppy came and picked him out in the nursery, and they’re just crazy about him,” Jenna said. “The girls are so thrilled that they have a little baby brother all of their own.”
One extended family member down, a bajillion more to go.
