You Need to See These Pics of Jamie Lee Curtis & Michelle Yeoh Celebrating Their Oscar Wins Together

Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh just proved that there’s no better feeling than winning an Oscar alongside your BFF.

Last night, the 95th annual Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. During the ceremony, both Curtis and Yeoh took home statuettes for their roles in Everything Everywhere All at Once. (Curtis won Best Supporting Actress, while Yeoh won Best Actress.)

After the awards show, the pair gathered in the press room to take photos and celebrate with their fellow cast members. Thankfully, photographers snapped pictures of Curtis and Yeoh’s joint excitement at winning Oscars on the same night.

When they reunited backstage, the pair peered around a curtain while waiting for their turn in front of the cameras.

They exchanged an excited glance as reality set in for the first-time winners. Curtis even gave Yeoh a kiss on the forehead, and the photo could pass as a wedding pic.

Yeoh previously discussed her friendship with Curtis during an interview with People magazine. “The love between me and Jamie Lee Curtis, it’s all real, yeah,” Yeoh said. “We have known each other for many years.”

However, it wasn’t until they reconnected for Everything Everywhere All at Once that they developed a close-knit bond. “We fell in love on first email,” Yeoh said. “[Jamie] was like, ‘Let's ditch the directors of the movie, the Daniels, and run away!’ I was like, ‘A woman after my own heart.’”

Yeoh added, “When you meet someone and have that connection, it’s not [about] the length of time you’ve known them. A friendship became a very precious relationship.”
