Jamie Dornan Confesses to Kelly Ripa That He Used to Live with These 4 Big-Name Actors

While we love Live with Kelly and Ryan for their delicious recipe suggestions and the many matching moments between Ripa and Seacrest, we also love the Hollywood tidbits we learn from their numerous guest stars.

This week, one of the celebrities welcomed (remotely) by the co-hosts was Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan (AKA Mr. Christian Grey, himself). While visiting the talk show, the Irish star discussed a number of topics, eventually landing on a very interesting factoid: When Dornan moved to L.A., he lived with a bunch of fellow actors who developed careers equally successful to his.

He revealed his famous old roomies in a video that was shared to the Live Instagram with a caption that said, “@jamiedornan lived in a house with these famous actors.”

“In the early days, you used to just sort of go out and chance your luck in going to L.A.,” Dornan said. “I lived with Eddie Redmayne, we shared a house together. This is probably 2008, I wanna say.”

However, the Academy Award-winning actor wasn't the only roommate Dornan had. “It was like myself and Eddie and Andrew Garfield, Rob Pattinson, Charlie Cox,” Dornan said. “A load of guys who ended up like doing pretty well, but we weren't doing pretty well at that time. It was a lot of going up for the same auditions, prepping each other, like helping each other out to try to get the same work that we were all vying for.”

But don't worry, because in case you couldn't tell from the list of names, things turned out well for this group of actors. “Luckily, over time, it all kind of worked out for us,” Dornan said. “But it was a fun group and they're still great friends.”

Dornan also joked that when this group lived together, their fridge was mainly full of beer and pizza, and sometimes cold cuts of meat.

While it doesn't sound like gourmet eating, we wouldn't mind any one of them as a roommate.
