People are getting creative as they pass time during social distancing. While some celebs (like Chrissy Teigen) are hosting wedding ceremonies for stuffed animals, Ina Garten is taking a bolder approach and whipping up an entire pitcher of cocktails. Because why not?
Earlier today, the Barefoot Contessa star, 72, shared a recipe video on Instagram, so her followers can join her in making “a lot of cosmos.”
In the clip, Garten walks viewers through her favorite cosmopolitan recipe, which uses ingredients that are probably already in your fridge.
“During these stressful times, it’s really important to keep traditions alive,” she says in the clip. “My favorite tradition is the cocktail hour.” Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City would be proud.
After combining the ingredients, Garten proceeds to bring out the biggest martini glass we’ve ever seen. “In these times, this is really important,” she says.
Garten concludes the video with some words of advice, adding, “Stay safe, have a very good time and don’t forget the cocktails.”
