Hence, the Swedish furniture outpost is running their Memorial Day Sale through Sunday, June 2, with deals on select home items for IKEA Family members.
What’s included in the sale? All mattresses over $150 are 20 percent off, for starters. SUNDVIK cribs are also 20 percent off, and select natural fiber baskets are 25 percent off. Cushion covers and decorative cushions (that is to say, pillows) are 20 percent off, along with custom countertops, which are 15 percent off. Who knew you could get custom countertops at IKEA?
And even though the savings end after this weekend, it might be worth a trip for the meatballs alone. FYI, IKEA is working on developing a new vegan option of the popular offering—you can think of it as the Impossible Burger of Scandinavian comfort food. The company says development is in the works—we’re waiting with bated breath (and forks).
