Hilary Duff Just Got a Cleverly Placed Sun Tattoo

Hilary Duff has found a way to make summer last forever.

The 31-year-old Younger star just debuted a brand-new tattoo of a sun, and it’s very cleverly placed. The fresh ink, which comes courtesy of celebrity tattoo artist Winter Stone (who’s also tatted up Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Chrissy Teigen, Lady Gaga, Matt Damon and Mandy Moore), is located on her forearm right next to a tattoo of her son’s name and a heart. Get it? Sun/Son. We see what you did there, Hilary.

Duff shared a slideshow of her tattooing experience on Instagram, as well as a close-up of the finished product.

In the first pic, she holds still while Stone does his business. In the second snap, they pose alongside one another post-tattoo. In the third, Duff showcases her delicate new tat. Honestly, we kind of love it.

Duff captioned the photo series with a little pun, writing, “Had a little sit with @winterstone today [heart emoji] thank you for my [sun emoji] she’s a bright addition.” She added a winky face for good measure and called it a day.

The mom of two shares 7-year-old son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie and 9-month-old daughter Banks Violet Bair with fiancé Matthew Koma. Since she’s already sporting ink in honor of Luca, it’s likely only a matter of time until she gets a little something in honor of Banks.

In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out.
