Hilary Duff Is Launching a Perfectly Timed Fall Makeup Collection

Hilary Duff is venturing into the beauty industry, and you’ll never believe how she landed the capsule collection.

The Lizzie McGuire star, 31, is launching an all-new makeup collaboration with Nudestix, according to WWD. The Daydreamer Palette will be available for purchase on the company’s website beginning September 10, and it sounds like an ideal addition to your fall beauty stockpile.

The palette features everything you need to achieve an effortless look: Nudies Matte All-Over Blush, Glow All-Over Highlighter, three Magnetic Luminous Eye Colors and Gel Color Lip and Cheek Balm.

According to Duff, the collection was specifically designed to add dimension to your autumn wardrobe. “The colors were a nod to the fall,” she told the outlet. “There are a lot of pink and ethereal tones in there.”

The Younger star went on to say that she wanted the collaboration to steer clear of typical fall shades. “I’m a California girl and everything is like, bronze-y and golden, and I’m sick of that,” she added. “I want my sweater, and I want pearlized tones.”

With the attention that the Lizzie McGuire sequel series has received, we’re not surprised that Duff is launching a capsule collection. However, the actress admitted that Nudestix didn’t come to her. In fact, she pitched the idea herself after she realized that she was accumulating the company’s products at a rapid pace. 

“They were excited I was investing, but I definitely pitched myself to them for the capsule,” she said. Then added, “I had everything that I wanted, like tones and a few of my favorite products I wanted to base them off of, and they were like, ‘OK, you have a very clear vision of what you want.’ And that’s how the process started.”
