Netflix Drops First Full-Length Trailer for ‘She’s All That’ Remake, ‘He’s All That,’ Starring Addison Rae

It’s been 22 years since introverted artist and outcast, Laney Boggs, received a makeover and won the heart of high school jock, Zack Siler, in the ’90s rom-com, She’s All That. And now, we finally have the first footage for the follow-up film starring TikTok star, Addison Rae.

Netflix released the full-length trailer for He’s All That on Wednesday and there’s a ton to unpack. The gender-swapped remake features everything from a star-studded cast (Kourtney Kardashian even makes an appearance) to viral social media videos, breakups and, of course, a fabulous makeover.

Watch the two-minute clip below.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “In this reimagining of 1999's She's All That, teen social media influencer Padgett's humiliating on-camera breakup goes viral, leading her to make a risky bet to save her reputation: She swears she can turn scruffy antisocial Cameron into prom king material. But things get complicated when she finds herself falling for him IRL.”

In addition to Rae, the film also stars Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai), Madison Pettis (The Game Plan), Matthew Lillard (Mrs. Doubtfire), Rachael Leigh Cook (She’s All That), Peyton Meyer (Girl Meets World), Isabella Crovetti (The Great Gatsby), Myra Molloy (The Bold Type) and Annie Jacob (Saving Zoe).

If you’re unfamiliar, the original story follows Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr.), who bets that he can turn Boggs (Rachel Leigh Cook), a talented young artist and outcast, into the new prom queen after his girlfriend dumps him. Spoiler alert: It works and the two fall in love.

Netflix is dropping He’s All That on August 27. So, there’s still plenty of time to rewatch the original, which just so happens to also be streaming on Netflix.
