Every year, the supermodel, 51, hires a team of professionals to help her create elaborate costumes that blow your average witch garb out of the water. (I’m talking about outfits that require hours of makeup and prosthetics.) So, it’s no surprise that Klum has been teasing her upcoming costume on social media for weeks.
The Project Runway alum began by sharing a video of herself getting fitted for the costume in a skin-tight piece of fabric.
Klum followed up with a photo of a prosthetic eyeball that’s so realistic, it made me do a double take.
She captioned the post, “I see a clue of what’s to come on October 31 … can you?”
The next week, Klum teased her costume again—but this time, she shared a video of a tortoise-like shell that’s seemingly made of a hard substance (like resin?).
The next clue really threw me for a loop. The post included a video of the same shell-like structures, but instead of one long column, they’re bolted together to form small tunnels.
At this point, if I had to guess, I would say that Klum is dressing up as a prehistoric sea creature or an armor-clad warrior. That all changed when I saw the next clue, which is giving...Edward Scissorhands?
She teased a claw-like element (again) when she shared a photo of herself making a silly face and wrote, “There’s a clue here but I just can’t put my finger on it…”
To further confuse fans, Klum shared a photo of herself covering a mannequin-shaped figure with a trash bag.
The caption read, “Keeping it under wraps.”
Per usual, Klum’s costume will be revealed at her annual Halloween party on October 31. Your guess is as good as mine.
