To say that Heidi Klum is a fan of Halloween would be an epic understatement—in fact, she's the Queen of Halloween. And, as expected, Klum's 2024 Halloween costume is better (and wilder) than I could have even imagined.
As with years' past, Klum made the big reveal during her annual Halloween party on October 31. So what was she? She was the female version of E.T. And she wasn't alone...
Klum and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, went as the male and female versions of E.T. from the 1982 Steven Spielberg film. And if you look closely, you can see their human faces in the necks of the alien creatures.
As in the past, Klum teased her Halloween costume in the weeks leading up to the big day. Though, to be honest, her "clues" weren't really that helpful.
They ranged from a giant eyeball...
...to a creepy claw. (Again, not the most helpful hints.)
As I said, Klum's past Halloween costumes have made headlines for good reason. Last year, the America's Got Talent host stepped out as a giant peacock—but the costume called for some backup. While Klum rocked a velvety blue body suit and mask, she was flanked on both sides by ten Cirque du Soleil performers to flesh out the look, according to The New York Times. The group donned green-and-blue bodysuits with fan-like capes to act as the feathers.
Oh, and her husband, Kaulitz, hit the red carpet in a human-sized egg costume. If that's not love, I don't know what is...
The previous year brought out another...um...creative choice from the star when she appeared as a giant worm. Klum shared a clip on Instagram and captioned the post, “Happy Halloworm! Love, @heidiklum.”
Look, you can't say the woman isn't dedicated to the holiday.
And now that Halloween has come and gone, someone alert Mariah. Time for our Queen of Halloween to pass the holiday torch to the Queen of Christmas.
