This ‘Harry Potter’ Face Mask Changes Colors When You Breathe On It (and We’ll Be Buying One ASAP)

We just discovered a magical face mask, and the moment you see it, you’ll be shouting "accio wallet!"

Artist Stephanie Hook is making Harry Potter fans’ dreams come true with a mask that changes colors when you breathe into it. She shared her creation on TikTok, and it’s quickly becoming a viral sensation.

The face mask is a basic black color, but once it reaches a temperature of 82 degrees, you’ll find a surprising replica of the Marauder’s Map that was featured for the first time in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. A lower temperature will bring the mask back to normal.

"The video I shared was of a prototype, and I just put it together quickly to show my fans," she told Insider. "I never imaged it would gain the following that it did."

Hook introduced the prototype only a week ago and already has more than one million views on the social platform. As a result, she has been receiving an overwhelming amount of requests. Thankfully, she mentioned to Insider that a limited number of color-changing masks were on the way.

It’s important to note that the mask isn’t medical-grade and shouldn’t replace your PPEs. However, it does follow the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s sewing guidelines and can be used as an additional protective covering.

The HP masks are currently sold out on her site, but you can get your hands on one on May 29th at 7 p.m. est. You might want to set an alarm because they are flying out of stock faster than the golden snitch.
