Happy Gilmore hit theaters in 1996 and starred Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore), Julie Bowen (Virginia Venit), Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin) and Carl Weathers (Chubbs).
The movie follows a wannabe hockey player, Happy Gilmore, who finds success in an entirely different sport: golf. With the help of his foul mouth and powerful swing, he becomes an unlikely contender among a sea of professionals. Highlights include getting into a fist fight on the green and talking to the golf ball as if it’s not an inanimate object.
Oh, how we’ve missed you, Adam Sandler. Be sure to check back tomorrow for Netflix’s entire July 2018 slate.
