Halloween Trees Are a Thing Now—and They’re Almost Completely Sold Out

Remember that twinkling ceramic Christmas tree on a timer that your mom/aunt/grandma always set out as part of their holiday decor? Well, thanks to Michael’s, the crafting supply store, there’s now a Halloween version—and it’s flying off store shelves (and already sold out online).

The tree—which measures just 14inches in height and costs $60—is black and covered with removable orange and purple LED lights, designed to look like mini jack o’lanterns. (Definitely an interesting choice.)

It even comes with a glowing jack-o’lantern topper. To turn it on, all you need are a few C batteries—no plug—so it'll blend seamlessly into your overall Halloween aesthetic, whether on your mantel, buffet, countertop or windowsill.

Will it put you in the spirit every time you walk by it? Sure. Is it the chicest thing to happen to Halloween? Not in the slightest.
