Here’s How You Can Get Paid to Watch Hallmark Christmas Movies

hallmark christmas movie dream job

Our ideal December afternoon involves snuggling up on the couch with fuzzy socks, hot cocoa and one of Hallmark’s 40 (!) new Christmas movies. So, if you—like us—watch enough holiday flicks to consider it a part-time job, you’re in luck.

CenturyLinkQuote is launching an all-new campaign that will award one lucky winner with the ultimate dream job: Get paid $1,000 to watch 24 Hallmark movies. (No, we’re not kidding.)

The company is looking for one at-home film critic, who is willing to take on the daunting task of watching 24 flicks in the 12 days leading up to Christmas. That’s only two viewings a day, making it totally doable for movie lovers.

As a reward, the person will receive $1,000 as payment. We’re still waiting for the catch.

Interested parties can apply on the official CenturyLinkQuote website, where they’ll be asked a series of questions—like “What is your favorite Hallmark movie?” and “What role do Christmas movies play in your holiday traditions?”

There’s also an option to submit a two- to three-minute video, which we highly recommend if you want to be seriously considered. (Applications must be submitted by December 6.)

If selected, you’ll be sent an official Hallmark binge-watching package, which includes a streaming service subscription, instant hot cocoa, cookies, string lights, a mini Christmas tree and a bunch of swag to ensure your “office” is Hallmark-approved.

Twenty-four holiday movies in 12 days? Sounds right up our alley.
