Halle Berry Rocked a Lace-Up Bodysuit Underneath a Velvet Floral Pantsuit on the Red Carpet

Halle Berry is a woman of many talents.

Not only is she an Oscar-winning actress, but the 55-year-old star just put her directing skills to the test with her new sports drama, Bruised. The film is her directorial debut, and she recently attended a screening of it at the Roxy Hotel in New York City.

While there, the actress discussed her work on the project, while also serving up an elegant ensemble, which included a velvet-jacquard blazer and matching pants from Veronica Beard. The black pantsuit featured a pop of color thanks to the woven marigold and steel blue flowers in its fabric. The pieces were then layered over a black bodysuit courtesy of Dundas, and Berry added a pair of tall black heels to round out the ’fit.

And Berry did not attend the screening alone. She was accompanied by her boyfriend, Van Hunt, who was captured in a few photos outside of the event, where he sported a long, hooded black coat.

Although the two did not pose together for the event, they made their red carpet debut as a couple back in April, when they attended the Academy Awards ceremony together.

Berry has shown her love for Hunt in many of her recent Instagram posts. Take, for instance, the caption she wrote on his birthday post back in March, where she said, “A real woman can do it all by herself, but a real MAN won’t let her. Happy birthday VanO. I only wish I’d known you sooner so I could have loved you longer!”

We hope these two attend more red carpet events soon so we can get more stunning outfits from Berry.
