From the moment we heard Halle Bailey would take on the role of the beloved Disney princess in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, we’ve been counting down the minutes until the release. In a new post on social media, the 22-year-old singer and actress shared a video of herself unveiling a brand-new version of the Little Mermaid doll. The clip shows Bailey trying to fight back tears as she holds up the doll, which captures everything from her hair to the mole above her eyebrow.

“I am going to cry. This is the new Little Mermaid doll,” she says in the video. “I am literally choking up because this means so much to me, and to have one that looks like me, that is my favorite Disney character, is very surreal.”

Throughout the video, Bailey can’t help but smile at the new doll. Before the clip ends, she openly admits that she doesn’t know what to do with the doll. However, she will proudly “take it home and hide it forever.”

In the caption of the video, the Grown-ish star shares her excitement and joy over her new doll, writing, “Omg [pink heart emoji] the little girl in me is pinching herself right now .. I have my own Little Mermaid Ariel doll !!! I can’t believe how much she captures my version of this iconic character. brb gonna go cry now…”

This news comes after Disney shared another glimpse of Bailey’s Ariel in the teaser for The Little Mermaid. Unlike in the first trailer, fans got a chance to see a terrifying look at Melissa McCarthy taking on the role of Ursula with her creepy, spot-on laugh.

So, where can we get our own doll? Bailey’s The Little Mermaid doll will be on store shelves this coming spring, according to Disney parks, experiences and consumer products.

Now we’ll just be over here waiting for the movie *and* the new doll to arrive.
