For Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, it seems the Apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree. Literally.
Over the weekend, the 47-year-old actress shared a sweet selfie of herself with 16-year-old Apple lounging outside and enjoying the nice weather. “Summer with my [apple emoji],” she captioned the post.
It’s clear the teenager gets her looks from her mom’s side of the family because the two look identical to one another. And no, we’re not just talking about the blonde hair. Apple also seems to have acquired her mother's smile, blue eyes and rosy cheeks. Not to mention, they both have the same exact nose.
The Goop founder recently celebrated her daughter’s 16th birthday with a rare photo and emotional tribute on Instagram.
"I can't believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl," Paltrow wrote beneath a series of photos. "You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor. I have the best time being your mom. I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what’s on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades. I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times."
