Gwen Stefani Shares Unseen Moments from the Day Blake Shelton Proposed

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may have gotten married back in July, but they are seemingly still in their honeymoon phase. Stefani just shared a special Instagram post marking the one year anniversary of when Shelton popped the question.

“One year ago today?!” Stefani said in the caption. “October 17th 2020 we got engaged! @blakeshelton I love you! gx #how?#backtothefuture #slowdown.”

The singer's post included a never-before-seen photo and clips from the notable day. In the first video, Stefani is seen waving her engagement ring, while Shelton dances behind her to “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang. She then holds up her hand and says, “Look! We just got engaged!”

The second photo was taken on the grounds of their Oklahoma home in a chapel that was built by Shelton. In the pic, Shelton is bent down on one knee, while Stefani holds her hands over her mouth in surprise. This is followed by another clip, where we get a close-up of Stefani's massive solitaire diamond engagement ring.

You might recognize the location in the middle photo, because this is the same spot where the couple took their engagement photos. They first shared the news last year in late October, when Stefani posted a photo of herself kissing her now-hubby and said, “@blakeshelton yes please!”

The pair officially tied the knot on July 3 in an intimate ceremony on Shelton's picturesque ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They were joined by friends and family, including Stefani's three sons, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.

If this is all for the proposal, we can't wait to see what Stefani shares on her wedding anniversary.
