The results are in, and we have another winner!
Tonight, Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered for the 2024 Golden Globes. During the 81st annual ceremony, The Bear took home the award for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy.
The popular series beat out a majorly impressive list of nominees, including Abbott Elementary, Barry, Jury Duty, Only Murders in the Building and Ted Lasso.
Other previous winners include Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Schitt's Creek, Fleabag, The Kominsky Method, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Atlanta, Mozart in the Jungle, Transparent, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Girls, Modern Family, Glee, 30 Rock, Extras, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sex and the City, Ally McBeal, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Cybill, Mad About You, Seinfeld, Roseanne, Brooklyn Bridge and Cheers.
Before having its own category, this award grouped together musical, comedy and drama series, and was called the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series. Lucky for us, this all-encompassing category ended in 1968.
The 81st annual Golden Globes were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The ceremony was exclusively broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.
