Unlike seasons one and two, GLOW’s third run will follow the impeccably dressed group as they headline a new gig at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
While their new lifestyle might appear to be glamorous, it’s not. Not only is Debbie (Betty Gilpin) drowning in guilt because she left her young son at home, but Ruth (Alison Brie) is also at a crossroad with her love life.
“I have a job. I have a boyfriend. And, somehow, I still feel lost,” Ruth says in the clip.
To top it off, they’re now being managed by a former showgirl (Geena Davis), who can make or break their careers.
On the bright side, the show’s already glitzy wardrobe has been amplified, in true Sin City style. This includes flashy leotards, dysfunctional headdresses and a whole lot of sequins. (#Bless)
So, will the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling become the city’s hottest new act? Or will they learn the hard way that Vegas isn’t for the fainthearted? Guess we’ll have to wait until season three of GLOW hits Netflix on Friday, August 9.
