Clearly, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s youngest daughter, Kaavia Union Wade, doesn’t need anyone to tell her that taking a dip in a pool is the perfect way to kick off summer.

In a video shared on Kaavia’s Instagram account, the five-year-old can be seen wearing a black bathing suit with her bouncy curls wrapped in a high pony. Before she and her dad jump in the pool, Kaavia hesitates at the last minute. “I can’t,” she says with a smile. “I’m not ready.”

Then the video cuts to Kaavia and Dwyane jumping in the pool together. At one point, Union, 51, joins in on the fun and plays a game of pool volleyball with her hubby and her daughter.

Kaavia’s Instagram followers also got a chance to see the five-year-old’s impressive basketball skills as she dunked the volleyball in a donut floaty, resembling a basketball hoop. (Looks like Dwyane has a potential basketball player on his hands.) The caption read, “Making waves with my faves [wave emoji].”

In the comments section, Kaavia’s supporters couldn’t get over how much she resembles her dad Dwyane, 42. One person wrote, “It’s her looking just like her daddy [red heart emoji].” Another fan chimed in and said, “Kaav is such a cutie and growing so beautifully,” while someone else commented, “She's the cutest!!”

This is just one of many adorable videos of Kaavia spending quality time with her parents. Back in March, Union shared a video montage that featured never-before-seen clips of herself and Kaavia together. In the caption, the Bring It On alum wrote, “Raising her to blossom in any environment [pink flower emoji].”

Here's hoping we get to glimpse more summertime fun from the Union-Wade crew.
